My experience at Lincoln Goldfinch Law was excellent! Since the beginning of my case, everything was explained in detailed. Every question I had was answered and the support through the process was truly helpful. The communication was pretty much remote including text, video calls, and emails with different people (5 or so) but all of them informed of my case. Pricing was pretty fair, our estimate was around $6-7k (we were told if paid in full would be a better price) including the application fees. Timing on my case was reasonable in my opinion as this year has been a busy year (around 9 months). They’re in a great location and staff is always ready to assist. I also enjoy the monthly events they host, made me feel in community. Overall I was very happy with the experience! 💛💛💛
We retained this firm after they presented themselves as responsive, compassionate, and eager to help. Unfortunately, our experience was very different once payment was made. After paying a $1,500 deposit, communication became inconsistent, our concerns were not addressed in a timely manner, and we were left feeling like our case was no longer a priority. We repeatedly had to initiate contact ourselves to obtain updates and clarity regarding next steps. What disappointed us most was the contrast between the level of attention provided before payment and the level of service provided afterward. We expected transparency, responsiveness, and professionalism throughout the process, but instead experienced frustration, uncertainty, and a lack of confidence in the representation we were receiving. We are sharing our experience so that others can make an informed decision before retaining this firm. We encourage prospective clients to ask detailed questions about communication expectations, timelines, and refund policies before paying any deposit or retainer. This review reflects our personal experience and concerns regarding the services provided.
We chose Lincoln-Goldfinch Law because we believed an experienced immigration law firm would guide us through a complicated situation and help us determine the correct legal strategy from the very beginning. Our first meeting left a positive impression. We spent a long time explaining our circumstances and answering every question we were asked. We believed the attorneys understood our case and had a clear plan moving forward. Unfortunately, that confidence did not last. After the initial consultation, communication became very limited. Weeks passed with little meaningful information about the progress of our case. We assumed the legal team was working through the issues and preparing everything necessary. As the filing deadline approached, we learned that key legal questions were still unresolved. Instead of receiving clear advice, it appeared that the firm was only then trying to determine how our case should be handled. That was extremely concerning because those issues were the primary reason we hired legal counsel in the first place. At that point, we felt we could no longer rely on the representation and made the difficult decision to hire another immigration attorney to protect our status. This meant paying for the same type of legal services a second time. When we asked for an explanation of the fees that had been retained, we expected a detailed accounting showing who worked on the case, what work had been completed, when it was performed, and how those services justified keeping almost the entire fee. Instead, we received only a brief summary with broad categories and no meaningful documentation supporting the firm's conclusion. Our disappointment is not based solely on the financial aspect. More importantly, we trusted the firm with an issue that directly affected our future, and we expected careful legal analysis, timely communication, and clear guidance throughout the process. This review reflects my personal experience. I hope the firm will provide a complete accounting of the work performed and resolve this matter fairly. If that happens, I will gladly update my review.
After a long immigration journey, I finally have my green card in hand, and I couldn’t be more grateful to Lincoln-Goldfinch Law for helping me get here. From the very beginning, the team was professional, responsive, and supportive. Immigration can be stressful and confusing, but they guided me through every step of the process and always made me feel like I wasn’t facing it alone. I especially want to thank Ilse and Kenya. They were incredibly helpful, patient, and kind whenever I had questions or needed guidance. They always took the time to explain things clearly and made a complicated process much easier to navigate. I’ll always be grateful for everything your team did for me and my wife
We would like to thank our lawyer Ernie and team at Lincoln-Goldfinch. Immigration paperwork is tedious and "DIY" was not a route we were wiling to go because why risk it with something as important as your loved one. The piece of mind that we had while navigating the paperwork, fees, time frames and knowing you had knowledgeable people on your side was a wise choice for us. The sacrifice was worth it in the end and we will always be grateful. Our tip for people that are going through immigration is dont do it alone, review your info because accuracy is important, be patient, be kind, and have faith. We wish everyone happy and fulfilling lives. Kind regards D & P C.P.
